It’s here again, uninvited yet expected as always: the last day of summer vacation.
So, what was summer like? It was good. Very good. It was time spent doing nothing and everything. It was time spent trying to be lazy that inevitably end up being busy yet utterly rewarding. It was time spent recharging.
The last day is always bittersweet. Always.
Here’s a drink to all my friends and colleagues in the noble profession of teaching, and to all moms and dads who will go though Kindergartens and grade twelve graduations and everything in between. It’s a new day tomorrow. It’s a new start. Another chance to make resolutions and a lifetime of memories.
2012-2013 will be just awesome!
